OPPO announces F19 Pro and F19 Pro+ phones

The OPPO brand has officially launched f19 Pro and F19 Pro phones in India, and the new devices are the successor to last year's F17 and F17 Pro, bringing many upgrades from its predecessors, including the most distinctive design, upgraded cameras, a more powerful chipset, and a larger battery.

As last month's leak revealed, the two phones are largely identical in all respects, with the exception of processor, charging speeds, and 5G support.

The phones receive a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, 2400×1080pixels, and a 60Hz update rate, protected by a gorilla glass 5 layer.

There is a rear camera with four optical image sensors with a 48-megapixel OmniVision OM48B basic lens, an 8-megapixel SK Hynix Hi-846 ultra-wide lens, a 2MP depth lens, a 2MP macro lens, and a 16MP front camera.

The camera features many Oppo enhancements, including The AI Highlight Portrait Video and Ultra Night Video and dual-view video that captures shots from both front and rear cameras.

F19 Pro works with MediaTek Helio P95 chipsets, combined with 8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage space.

F19 Pro has the most powerful MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipsets with 8GB RAM, 128GB of storage, and 5G support.

There is a 4,310 mAh battery inside each device with vooc Flash Charge 4.0, but charging speeds vary, so the F19 Pro provides 30W speed support, while the other device provides 50W support.

Both phones operate with the latest version of ColorOS 11.1 based on Android 11, and other features of the series include an under-screen fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone port, Bluetooth 5.1, and microSD card support.

The F19 Pro sells for $293 for the 8/128GB version, $320 for the 8/256GB version, and comes in fluid black, purple, Purple Fantastic Purple, and Silver Crystal Silver.

The F19 Pro is sold for $354 for the single version 8/128GB and comes in fluid Black, Somo Blue blue, and Silver Space Silver.

Sales start on March 17, and the series is available for initial order starting today.

The company also announced the global version of the Oppo Band Style fitness tracker, which comes for $40.

Featuring a metal clamp design, there is a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 40 hourly face options, SpO2 sensor, heart rate sensor, IP67 protection from water and dust, and a battery life of up to 12 days.
