Lenovo adds WiFi 6 to educational laptops

Lenovo has today updated its educational-focused pc selections, and the company has announced new versions of lenovo 14, Lenovo 100, Lenovo 300 and Lenovo 500 laptops.

Each computer comes with chrome OS and Windows, and they offer the same set of improvements.

All models comply with the mil-SPEC 801H independent standard and, in addition, Lenovo's strict educational specifications require enhanced ports and hinges, with rubber bumpers to protect against falls.

Spill resistance has been improved by nearly 10 percent, while Corning Gorilla Glass provides better screen protection.

The new designs also include features to enable the most productive and comprehensive learning wherever it is:

  • The USB Type-C port allows flexible connectivity for easy connectivity of external devices and supports fast charging by saving up to 80 percent of the battery within an hour.
  • The new HDMI port lets you connect a second screen to expand the learning workspace
  • Optional Wi-Fi 6 technology helps network performance and stability, while 4G-LTE4 is optional in selected models of multi-site learning capabilities.
  • User privacy is enhanced by adding an actual webcam shutter.

Lenovo 14w and Lenovo 14e are powered by 14-inch measurements by improved AMD processors for Chromebooks.

Models are distinguished by their colours, with Windows-based Lenovo 14w in black, while chromebook 14e is available in a grey aluminum design.

The Lenovo 100 laptops, lenovo 300 and Lenovo 500 convertible models are clearly defined by setting them with an e that refers to Chromebook and w which means Windows, and the 11.6-inch models also feature their distinctive look.

Lenovo 100e, Lenovo 300e and Lenovo 500e are grey with a spotted design and white dots on grey bumpers.

Lenovo 100w, Lenovo 300w and Lenovo 500w offer a similar design approach, but they are blue to clearly distinguish between versions.

Lenovo 500e and Lenovo 500w are powered by Intel Celeron N5100 processors and Intel Pentium N6000, respectively.

Lenovo 100e and Lenovo 300e are powered by the latest AMD processors for Chromebooks, with their Windows counterparts.
