Aya Neo .. Gaming laptop now available via Indiegogo

Ryzen-treated gaming laptop developer Aya Neo has broken its crowdfunding target within the first few hours of its IndieGoGo platform.

The company has now exceeded its initial target by more than 3,067 percent, with the 512GB SSD model sold in less than 24 hours and will not be refurbished, but Aya has issued another 1,000 units with a capacity of 1TB to meet demand.

Although Aya Neo is similar to the Nintendo Switch by design, it's even more powerful with a 7-nanometer AMD Ryzen 5 processor, with 16GB RAM AND 16GB RAM.

The device has a 7-inch touch screen with 800×1280 pixels and runs Windows 10, so there are no compatibility issues.

To keep the device running, there are three 4,100 mAh lithium-ion cells charged with 65 watts via a USB-C port, and the company claims that the battery allows the device to operate for six hours of runtime.

Aya Neo comes with three USB 3.2 Type-C ports at 10Gbps (2 with video output and charging) and a headphone port.

An optional $47 platform adds two USB 3.2 type-A ports, one HDMI port, one SD card slot, a MicroSD card slot, and an Ethernet port to connect your mouse, keyboard, and external screen.

With current settings, tire rates are expected to range from 30 to 60 fps across most games, including Cyberpunk 2077.

You need to check the system requirements for newer games to see if Aya Neo fits them, but the company has confirmed that it is sending improvements that can help boost the rate of frames per second with the release of more games.

Aya originally suspended its crowdfunding campaign due to a lack of inventory, and the company begins the phase of mass production of the device after the supply chain problem is resolved.

Before you spend about $869 on Aya Neo support, remember that this is a crowdfunding campaign and that one in ten successfully funded products does not reach the market.

These are investments in product concepts and not a promise of a physical product, in the end, however, Aya has tested the proof of concept and is actively selling the device in China, which means that the laptop is coming to market.
