6 new features from Microsoft in the application "teams"

Microsoft has launched a major update to the "Teams" app for video calls, including a range of new features that will be available to users this month, including automatic offline transmission, outlook, and more.

Here are the most important new features of The Times app that will make it easy for you to communicate and collaborate with others in performing tasks easily.

1. Offline auto send

Offline auto send allows you to continue sending messages over Timms even offline, which determines when Teams messages are sent or edited when the user is offline, and these messages are automatically sent as soon as the device returns to the Internet.

2- The new approval center

You can use Timms' Approvals service to simplify approval requests and processes with your team-mates and partners, where you can create requests, and view requests sent to you, but now the app has a feature called approvals hub, and this is where you'll see all the approvals you've sent or received, including already completed approvals.

It's also easy to send requests for approval directly through a Timms conversation, in a channel conversation, or by applying for the approvals themselves. Just select the type of approval, add details, attach files, and choose who you want to approve. Once sent, they are notified and can review the application and act accordingly.

A wide range of approval applications can be submitted, such as requiring a co-worker to give the client a discount, requesting an expense report, a leave request, and much more.

3- Add a shared calendar to a channel in the Timms app

The latest update of the Teams app includes a new feature that lets you create a calendar and share it with members of a particular channel, since when you create a meeting in a channel, Tims automatically creates a new publication in the channel activity summary.

Users who have stopped notifications will only see the event when they open the channel calendar, and once the channel event is published you can add it to your personal calendar. This feature provides all members within the channel, except guest users, with a view of upcoming events.

4. Easily transfer attachments from Outlook

Before the last update, if you want to share any attachments from Outlook mail in the Timms app, you should have saved the email attachment on your device, and then uploaded it to the Times app to share the conversation or channel you want.

But now it's so simple, all you have to do is pull the attachments from Outlook and pass them to the Timms app.

5- Break rooms

With teachers and meeting organizers looking for ways to encourage meaningful discussions, participants need to be divided into small groups to facilitate discussions.

Microsoft has therefore launched the breakout rooms feature, to facilitate group discussions, where it is easier for managers to divide teams into small groups to perform certain tasks, or to quickly finish projects.

Using this feature, teachers, and educators will be able to divide their classes into small groups of things, such as projects or focused discussions.

6. Teams integration with Google Workspace

It's now easy to schedule and join Tims meetings directly from your Google calendar using a new add-on, where you can make video calls, put ideas up with a digital board, and stay connected at your school and business.
