Skagen Hybrid Smartwatch features E Ink display

Fossil-owned Skagen has unveiled a new hybrid smartwatch called Jorn Hybrid HR, which offers most of Falster 3's critical fitness tracking features at a reasonable price.

Last year's Skagen Falster 3 smartwatch is one of the best WearOS smartwatches you can buy, however, its price of about $300 doesn't make it the best choice for budget holders.

The new Jorn Hybrid HR is a combination of classic design and smart technology, thanks to the ever-functioning 1.09-inch electronic ink display, which lets you view all fitness tracking information at a glance.

When talking about fitness tracking, Jorn Hybrid HR offers pretty much all the basic features you're looking for in a smartwatch, including constant heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, step tracking, exercise discovery, and more.

The watch comes in sizes of 38 mm and 42 mm, both of which provide up to two weeks of battery life on a single charge.

Despite the electronic ink display, the watch offers many custom watch faces that you can use to customize the watch to your liking.

It comes with a host of additional features, such as: GPS, music control, notification alerts, alarm, timer, stopwatch, etc.

The watch is water resistant up to 3ATM and uses a standard 22 mm belt.

Jorn Hybrid HR starts at $195 and goes on sale in the United States as of January 26.

In addition to Jorn Hybrid HR, Michael Kors also released two new hours of Access Gen 5E Darci and Access Gen 5E MKGO.

The new Michael Kors watches are based on the Fossil Gen 5E smartwatches released last year and feature a slightly updated design with many decorations to justify the premium price.

Unlike Jorn Hybrid HR, both Michael Kors watches operate with Wear OS and are based on snapdragon Wear 3100.

The watches offer the same features as Fossil Gen 5E, including a 1.19-inch OLED screen, activity tracking, sleep monitoring, and constant heart rate monitoring.

Watches also allow you to make or receive phone calls, talk to Google Assistant, and come with NFC support for quick payments via Google Pay.

The watches contain 1GB of RAM, 4GB of storage, and a 300 mAh battery, and are water resistant to 5ATM.

As you'd expect, The Michael Kors is much higher than the fossil Gen 5E smartwatches, given their distinctive design.

Access Gen 5E Darci starts at $350, while Access Gen 5E MKGO starts at $250.
