Price and specifications of the new Redmi Note 9T and The New Redmi 9T from Xiaomi

Last year, Xiaomi released the Redmi Note 8T, which sold for less than $300. The device was very integrated in terms of price, design, independence, performance, and image quality. Now a year is going on, Xiaomi will be able to make us a second time with the Redmi Note 9T.

Unlike the Redmi Note 8T, this new model benefits from a 5G chip, priced at $300 less.

Xiaomi also took the opportunity to launch a second model at the same time, the Redmi 9T. It is also priced below the price of the Note 9T.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 9T Specifications

The Redmi Note 9T features a 6.53-inch Gorilla Glass 5 glass screen. The 162 × is 77.3 mm × 9.1 mm and weighs 199 grams, 2 grams more than the Redmi Note 8T.

On the other hand, the device has a new design with a circular image sensor unit at the back (somewhat similar to the Huawei Matt 40 Pro). The smartphone also contains a special coating, which prevents the leaving of traces of fingerprints. 



At the front of the device is a spot at the top left dedicated to accommodating the image sensor.

For performance power, the Redmi Note 9T is equipped with Meditech's Dimensity 800U, a 5G-compatible chip.

Xiaomi has not been spared in independence either, due to its use of a battery of up to 5000 mAh thanks to the Dimensity 800U chip.

For image sensors at the back, the device has:

  • 48MP MAIN SENSOR (F/1.79 SLOT),
  • 2MP macro sensor (1.75 pixels)
  • 2 MP depth sensor (1.75 pixels).
  • At the front of the phone, the device has
  • 13-megapixel (1.12-megapixel) objective sensor.


The phone is available in black and purple. It will be available from January 15th at the following prices:

  • $300 for 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space.
  • $328.72 for 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space.

Redmi 9T specifications

has just unveiled a second smartphone model, the Redmi 9T. The back is more classic with image sensors at the top on the left of the device.

Redmi 9T does not have a MediaTech chip, with Xiaomi opting to return to Qualcomm's Snapdragon 662 chip, which is not compatible with the 5G network.

On the other hand, the smartphone will benefit from a more powerful battery, thanks to the power of 6,000 mAh. It will also benefit from fast charging with 18Watts with a 22.5-watt charger included in the box.

For image sensors, the device has four sensors:

  • 48MP MAIN SENSOR (F/1.79 SLOT),
  • 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.2 aperture),
  • 2MP macro sensor (f/2.4 aperture),
  • 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4 aperture). For the selfie sensor, the device will benefit from an 8-megapixel console (f/2.05 opening).

The device is available in four colors: gray, blue, orange, green. For prices, the smartphone will be marketed at the end of February at the following prices:

  • $206.10 for a 4GB version of RAM and 64GB of storage.
  • $242.66 for 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.
