Invidia brings GeForce RTX 3080 to laptops

Invidia brought GeForce RTX 3060, GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080 to gaming laptops less than six months after the GeForce RTX 3000 series was introduced to desktop computers.

Invidia promises significant gains in energy efficiency, thanks to the new Ampere architecture, as well as clear performance improvements compared to laptops including the GeForce RTX 2000 series.

More than 70 gaming laptops with new GeForce RTX 3070 and GeForce RTX 3080 are scheduled to be available on January 26, with GeForce RTX 3060 laptops coming in on February 2.

The prices of laptops including the GeForce RTX 3060 start at $1,000 and Invidia says it's 1.3 times faster than the PS5.

The prices of laptops including the GeForce RTX 3070 starts at $1,300 and Invidia says: they are up to 1.5 times faster than the previous GeForce RTX 2070 systems, and provide 90 fps at 1,440p resolution.

The prices of laptops including the GeForce RTX 3080 start at $2,000 and can include up to 16GB of GDDR6 memory — more than available on the GeForce RTX 3080 side.

Invidia claims that these laptops provide more than 100 frames per second at 1,440 p.

These laptops use The Third Generation Max-Q from Invidia designed for insomnia and lighter laptops.

Max-Q variables are designed to extract most of the GPU power from the GeForce RTX 3000 series card to a more thermally restricted structure.

Invidia and laptop manufacturers are adjusting drivers and thermal and electrical components to make this a reality.

"Max-Q laptops offer twice as much as the previous generation," says Invedia.

Invidia uses the new Dynamic Boost 2.0 technology in these mobile devices that use artificial intelligence to balance power between the CPU, the GPU, and GPU memory.

The new Dynamic Boost 2.0 technology works on a frame-by-frame basis, which means the laptop can balance its energy needs in real-time.

Laptops included in the GeForce RTX 3080 must be strong enough to handle the Microsoft Flight Simulator.

Invidia introduced the Razer Blade 15 Microsoft Flight Simulator fully during its keynote address at CES.

Invidia also offers WhisperMode 2.0 with laptops including the GeForce RTX 3000 series, so you can choose different audio levels, allowing Artificial Intelligence to manage fan speeds and game settings to stay at the desired audio level.
