Everything you need to know about AirPods Pro 2

Apple launched the first generation airPods Pro in October 2019, and since then it has not launched an updated version of these headphones yet, although it has enjoyed a great reception from users thanks to its design and powerful features that support it, this may change during this year 2021, as many reports have emerged that the company is working on a new version of these headphones with some design changes.

Here's everything you need to know about the second generation AirPods Pro:

The current AirPods Pro comes with three sizes of soft and flexible silicone tips included in the case, a shorter speaker clutch design than the standard Airpods, and supports many features that are not found in the standard model, such as: active noise cancellation, improved sound quality, water resistance, and sweat.

But according to a report from Bloomberg, Apple aims to make the next model of wireless earphones more compact by getting rid of the part that stands out from the bottom of the earbuds, and the same report states that the company has a design under test with a round shape that fills more space than the ear, such as Google's Pixel Buds and Samsung Galaxy Buds.

In addition, several reports indicate that the upcoming AirPods Pro charging box will feature some minor design changes, with the new 46x54mm charging box, and therefore longer and higher than the current 45.2mmX60.6mm charging box.

Launch date:

According to a report from a Japanese blog called Mac Otakara, it is reported that Apple will launch the second generation of Wireless Earbuds (AirPods Pro) next April with the third generation of iPhone SE phones, and other leaks indicated that Apple is also planning to update the standard AirPods in the first half of this year 2021 with a design similar to the current AirPods Pro but without including the noise cancellation feature, allowing it to be sold at a competitive price similar to the iPhone SE.

The current AirPods are available for $159 with a wired charging case, or $199 with a wireless charging box, while the AirPods Pro is available for $249 with wireless charging, so models from wireless earbuds can keep the prices the same.
