Everything you need to know about the upcoming Huawei P50 series

Huawei P40 is one of the best phones of 2020, with many great features, such as: high-quality cameras – rated as the best smartphones for imaging for 2020 – and long battery life, but still lack Google applications and services relative to the company's ban from the U.S. government, a problem not expected to be solved in the next Huawei P50 lineup but may at least be improved.

Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming Huawei P50 series:

So far, there are not many official images showing the design of any of the upcoming P50 series phones m Huawei, but the famous and trusted leaker (Steve H. McFly) revealed the upcoming Huawei P50 Pro model, which featured a curved screen design, small rims, and a single-lens camera pierced in the upper middle.

In addition to having power and sound control buttons on the right edge, according to the same source, the Huawei P50 Pro will have a 6.6- inch screen, as well as the inclusion of innovative liquid lens technology to significantly improve focus speeds.

In another leak, images emerged showing the basic standard of the Huawei P50 in general, showing the front camera integrated into the top left corner of the screen, and a four-lens camera placed in a large rectangular frame at the back of the phone, however, these images appear to be of low quality, so they are not very reliable.

Specifications and features:

So far, little detail has emerged about the specifications or features that Huawei P50 phones might bring, but based on the previously leaked image, this series of phones is likely to use the same set of processors in the Huawei Mate 40, specifically the company's newest processor (Kirin 9000) Kirin 9000 made with 5 nm technology.

However, due to the company's ban, there have been reports that the company will stop using Kirin processors after the U.S. government asked Taiwan's TSMC, Huawei's main supplier, to cease cooperation with the company after 2020.

At the same time, however, a recent report has emerged that Huawei has already stored enough Kirin 9000 processors to be included in the upcoming Huawei P50 phones before the ban is officially in force, and it can also be said that unless things change in the Chinese company's relationship with the new U.S. administration in the coming days, Huawei P50 phones will not be able to access Google applications and services.

Huawei P50 phones are expected to continue to operate android as well as other modern phones that have the basic operating system but have to rely on third-party app stores, however, there is a possibility that the company will be able to equip its next phones to operate its operating system (Harmony OS) in specific markets, as other markets continue to have access to the Android operating system.

Release date and price:

The launch date of the Huawei P50 is almost certain, with most reports matching that the launch date will be in the first half of 2021, which is highly anticipated given the launch dates of previous models.

The end of March this year will be highly likely to be the 27th of the same month and is then expected to be shipped to the market within two weeks of the announcement date to be officially available to consumers in early April this year.

The price is unknown, but based on the initial price at the launch of the previous Huawei P40 model starting at $900, the initial price of the Huawei P50 main model is expected to be the same, with the initial price of p50 Pro and P50 Pro Plus expected to rise, and as is almost certain that these phones will not be available in the United States.
