Asus showcases Zephyrus G14 and Zephyrus G15

Asus unveiled a range of new products under its ROG or Republic of Gamers brand at CES 2021, including rog Zephyrus G14 update, as well as older brother ROG Zephyrus G15, with newer chips from AMD and Nvidia.

ROG Zephyrus G14 is one of the best laptops to have emerged in 2020, in part because of the exceptional Ryzen 9 4900HS processor.

In addition to slide upgrades, both models have new viewing options, with ROG Zephyrus G14 now comes with an FHD display with an update rate of 144 Hz, which is intended for players who want maximum smoothness.

There is also a 2K model with a 120Hz update rate, which Asus says covers the full DCI-P3 color range, providing smooth gameplay, clear details, and professional colors that are perfect for video production.

The 2021 version of rog Zephyrus G14 comes with Ryzen 9 5900HS and GeForce RTX 3060, while the 2021 version of rog Zephyrus G15 comes with the Ryzen 9 5900HS processor with GeForce RTX 3080.

ROG Zephyrus G15 has a QHD display with an update rate of 165 Hz and a response time of 3 milliseconds, covering the DCIP-3 color range 100 percent.

Asus also added new animations to the innovative AniMe Matrix display of 1,215 small fully programmed LED lights covering rog Zephyrus G14 cover.

There is now a virtual ROG pet that reacts to changes in system status and can live on the AniMe Matrix screen and interact with you.

ROG Zephyrus G15 received a little redesign, inheriting rog Zephyrus G14's ErgoLift joint, which lifts the keyboard surface slightly to improve cooling and properly hide some of the lower frames.

It also has a touchpad 20 percent larger than its predecessor and 40 percent more responsive than the previous generation, making mobility easy, also added an additional microphone, there were two, and now three.

Both models have larger 90-watt batteries, and the company says you get more than 10 hours of runtime.

Both also include improved speakers with the new Dolby Atmos and dual-directional AI noise cancellation, however, there are no webcams to see.

The computers are available in the first quarter of 2021, and Asus has not yet announced whether the price may change, with current models starting at $1,050.
