4 ways to easily transfer contacts from Android to iPhone

 


While Google's Android operating system is still one of the most operating systems running in smartphones by more than 72% according to statcounter, at some point you may want to switch to apple's iOS phone, so you will definitely need to transfer all your data to your new phone, including contacts.

Here are 4 ways to easily transfer contacts from your Android to iPhone:

1. Use the Move to iOS app:


 Move to iOS is one of the few Apple apps available in the Google Play Store, and aims to help users of Android phones transfer their data, including: contacts to the new iPhone quickly and easily.

The app lets you transfer data such as: contacts, messages, photos, videos, bookmarks, email accounts, and calendars directly to your iPhone.

2- Use Google Sync:


Although Apple does not normally support android users, google is quite the opposite, as most of its services and features work very well in iOS phones, and you can use Google sync to transfer your data easily, including: contacts.

It is worth noting that this service only works if you have already synced contacts with your Google account, as this feature does not do some devices by default, and then if you connect all your contacts to Google servers it will be easy to transfer to iPhone, to do so, follow the following steps:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  • Click on the Mail option.
  • Click on the Accounts option, and then select Add Account.
  • Enter your Gmail address.
  • Click on sync account.

  • After a few minutes, all simultaneous contacts via googleb account on your Android phone will be transferred to your iPhone.

3- Manually transfer contacts:


If you don't want to use the previous two methods, you can manually transfer your contacts, by creating a VCF file and transferring it to your iPhone, to do so, follow these steps:

  • Open the Contact app on your Android phone.
  • Click on the three points to open the main menu.
  • From the list that appears to you, click the Import/Export option.
  • Click on the Export to Storage option.
  • This will create a VCF file and save it in your phone.
  • Send this file to your iPhone via any messaging or email apps.


  •  After you open this file on your iPhone, all contacts will be added.


4. Use your SIM card:


You can sim card to transfer contacts from your phone, which is especially useful if you are having a problem with your Google account, or you are offline, or do not want to share your data with Google for any reason, to do so, follow the following steps:

  • Open the (Contacts) app on your Android phone.
  • Click on the three points at the top to open the main menu.
  • From the list that appears to you, click contact manager option.
  • Click on the Manage SIM card contacts option.
  • Select import from phone option.

Now to transfer contacts to your iPhone, follow these steps:

  • Insert the SIM card into the dedicated port of your iPhone.
  • Open the Settings app on your phone.
  • Click on the (Contacts) option.
  • Click on the Import SIM Contacts option to start the transfer.
  • After the operation is over, you will keep all contacts on your iPhone.
