3 ways you can easily extract images from PDF files


If you receive a PDF document and want to keep one of the images in it, you may find it a little difficult, because PDF documents aim to be safer than other formats, such as Word, where you must use an online program, application, or tool to do so.

Here's how to easily extract photos from PDF files:

1. Use the Adobe Acrobat Reader app:

Adobe's free App Acrobat Reader lets you easily read PDF files, in addition to providing you with many features including copying and keeping photos of files on your device, to do so, follow the following steps:

  • Open the document that contains the image using the app on your computer.
  • Right-click on the image you want to copy.
  • From the list that appears to you, select copy Image.
  • Open any app on your computer, such as Word or Paint, and paste the image by pressing the Ctrl+V buttons on the keyboard.

2.Use the PDF Candy tool:

If you want to extract multiple images from a PDF file, using an online tool is the right option, and there are many online tools suitable for it, but the most famous is pdf Candy and it is easy to use and offers you all the images extracted in a zip file and for use, follow the following steps:

  • Open your internet browser on a computer, then go to PDF Candy.
  • On the tool's home page, click the Extract Images option at the bottom of the page.

  • On the screen that shows you, you can either click the Add File option to add a PDF file from your computer, download it from your Google Drive or Dropbox account, or drag and drop the file in the empty space.

  • The process of extracting images from a PDF file will begin automatically.
    After you're done, you'll see done with the option to download the file to your computer, or send it directly to your Google Drive or Dropbox account.

 3- Take a screenshot:

While image quality may not be perfect, the option of taking a screenshot of the image in the open PDF file in your screen is a very quick and easy one, as you can use the Preview tool on your Mac computer, or one of the applications available for Windows 10, including the Snipping app, which comes previously integrated into Windows 10.
