Samsung launches the world's most powerful curved gaming screen

Samsung today announced the launch of Odyssey, which it says is the most powerful curved gaming screen in the world.

The screen - unveiled at the CES 2020 early this year - comes with a 49-inch QLED type, the ultra-wide aspect ratio of 32: 9.

The screen has 125% sRGB primary color coverage, a curvature of 1000R, and a high refresh rate of 240 Hz. This high refresh rate allows high-speed games to run smoothly, especially since the screen response time does not exceed 1 millisecond.

The screen comes with a resolution of 5120 x 1440 pixels, and supports HDR 1000 technology, and has a high brightness level of 1000 lumens, and also supports the technology of gaming G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium Pro.

ADVISE G9 offers two Display Port 1.4 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, two USB 3.0 ports, and a headphone port.

Without mentioning the price, Samsung said in a statement: The Odyssey screen will be available in white all over the world as of this June.

And the company had announced at the beginning of the next month the launch of the global screen Odyssey G7, which is the first desktop screen dedicated to fans of games with a level of curvature of 1000R.

The Korean electronics giant said that the Odyssey lineup - unveiled at the CES 2020 in Las Vegas - "reimagines the gaming experience by combining the deepest and most curved screens with the best in class performance features."

Samsung targets the Odyssey G7 screen with a 1000R curvature of gaming lovers, and according to the company, this rate is similar to the field of human vision. The screen also has a response time of no more than 1 millisecond and a refresh rate of 240 Hz, along with the quality of the image with QLED technology.
