Report: Samsung plans to launch a reduced version of "Galaxy S20"

A new report from the (Sam Mobile) website stated that Samsung intends to announce a reduced version of its Galaxy S20 smartphone, similar to what it did with last year's Galaxy S10 Lite.

The Korean company had launched the Galaxy S20 phones earlier this year, and during the past months it was reported that Samsung intends to launch a reduced version of the series phones.

Sam Mobile said: It is known from its sources that a new version of the Galaxy S20 is under development with the model number SM-G780 for the global market, and the model number SM-G781 for the American market.

According to the site, the SM-G780 will be available in global markets with the support of 5G networks or without it, while the SM-G781 will only be available with the support of 5G networks.

The site indicated that the specifications of the phone are not yet known, but he expected that the internal storage memory capacity will not be less than 128 GB, and that it will work with the user interface One UI 2.5 based on the Android operating system.

And because Samsung launched the Galaxy S10 Lite with the Snapdragon 855 processor, which is the same processor that launched the Galaxy S10 in some markets, Sam Mobile expected that the Galaxy S20 Lite will come with the Snapdragon 865 processor.
